More
than 60 Homeschoolers from across Forsyth County Attend Tabor for
Congress event Kernersville,
NC ñ On Monday, April 5th, Nathan Tabor, candidate for
the 5th Congressional Tabor, who was formally home schooled, has been endorsed by Mike Farris, the Homeschool Legal Defense Association PAC and the Madison Project, said that, ìParents -- not Washington, D.C. or Raleigh bureaucrats -- should make the final decision regarding their childrenís education.î Tabor continued with a commitment that he would actively fight for the rights of home school parents and children. ìIíll stand with organizations like the Home School Legal Defense Association, the Madison Project and the North Carolinians for Home Education.î Tabor reminded those in attendance: ìAs you know, home-schooled children year in and year out are ranked among the top academic students in the country. If given the honor of serving you in the United States House of Representatives, I will work tirelessly to defend you and your familyís right to choose how your child is educated. No one understands the needs of your child better than you. For your sacrifice you should receive a tax credit or school voucher without government regulations.î Tabor has planned 4 more ìHomeschoolers for Taborî bowling events throughout the entire 5th District.
